Wax & Candles

We have a selection of candles.

Beeswax candles burn longer and brighter when compared with paraffin wax. It is an interesting fact that the ancient monks kept bees for there wax to produce candles to enable them to work on their manuscripts. At least until they discovered mead!

In general we sell candles at fetes and around Christmas.
We can do special orders, in a variety of sizes and shapes. Hearts and lovebirds are popular. Small jars of honey as wedding favours are available, but it very much depends on the time of year and that year’s honey crop.
